8:00-8:30: Our friendly guide will pick you up for an immersive exploration of Hanoi. 8:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, situated on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. This ancient pagoda, built in the 6th century, holds deep historical significance. 9:30: Visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, where you can pay respects to Ho Chi Minh's embalmed body. Explore the surrounding garden and see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then, visit the unique One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Note: Please dress modestly, covering your shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. The Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and undergoes a maintenance closure of at least two months from June 15th to August 15th. However, you can still take pictures and explore the surrounding area. 11:15: Proceed to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to gain insights into the diverse cultures of the country's 54 ethnic groups. Special Note: On Mondays, we will visit the Women's Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum. 12:45: Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese cuisine lunch at our restaurant, featuring eight delightful dishes. 14:00-14:15: Continue the tour with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, established in the 11th century. 15:15: Depart for Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists and later by North Vietnam during the Vietnam War as a prison for U.S. prisoners of war. American POWs nicknamed it the "Hanoi Hilton." 16:15-16:30: Conclude the tour and return to your hotel.
07:00: Complimentary pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Depart for Sapa. During the journey, marvel at the enchanting beauty of the northwest mountains, where terraced fields shimmer in the sunlight or disappear into the mist. Embark on the day's adventure, starting at 9:30. Trek 12 km and visit the Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages, home to the H'mong minority. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local family's house in Lao Chai or a nearby riverside drinking shop. Afterward, continue hiking to Ta Van village, inhabited by the Dzay ethnic group, where you will spend the night in a homestay. Immerse yourself in their daily life, work, and authentic customs. Dinner and overnight stay in a homestay with a local family in Ta Van village.
Enjoy breakfast at the homestay around 8 am. Begin your trek at 9:30 am. Embark on an 8 km trek to visit the captivating villages of Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan, inhabited by the Red Dzao and H'mong ethnic groups. Explore the picturesque landscapes, including a beautiful waterfall and a rattan bridge. Traverse the bamboo forest and reach the main road, where a jeep awaits to take you back to Sapa. Admire the remarkable architecture of the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17th century. Immerse yourself in the ancient atmosphere of Hoa Lu. 11:45 am: Indulge in a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a variety of delicious dishes, including goat meat and fried rice. Vegetarian options are also available. 1:00 pm: Embark on a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride to discover the stunning beauty of Tam Coc.
